On the second day of the Summit, we’ll conclude the workshops with an engaging keynote speech and panel discussion centered on the theme "Youth in Power," presented by Emilia Uljas from Finland.

Few people in the Nordic-Baltic region possess the insights that Emilia Uljas brings to the table. As the EU Youth Delegate for Finland, she has an extensive background in youth and educational policy. Emilia is also the youngest member ever of the morning TV discussion panel Jälkiviisaat and is currently studying politics and law at the University of Helsinki. She gained recognition in 2021 as the president of Upper Secondary School Students in Finland and as a columnist for the Finnish Broadcasting Company, YLE.

Following her keynote speech, Emilia will be joined by two esteemed guests, Jesper Saltvik Pedersen and Seqininnguaq Qitura Poulsen, for a panel discussion on youth empowerment.

Jesper Saltvik Pedersen is a para-alpine skier and a member of the Norwegian Alpine Ski Team. He won his first Paralympic gold medal in 2018 and has since secured a total of five Paralympic gold medals. In addition, he is a seven-time World Champion and has won the World Cup title for six consecutive years. In recognition of his achievements, he received the Norwegian government's Paralympic Honorary Award in 2018.

Seqininnguaq Poulsen is a 22-year-old Inuk artist, UN Fellow, and Indigenous rights advocate from Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland). Seqininnguaq has collaborated with organizations such as the Inuit Circumpolar Council, Twitter, the UN Youth Envoy, and Spotify. In 2019, they established LGBTQ+ Greenland (now known as Greenland+), serving as chairperson until 2021. That same year, Seqininnguaq Poulsen launched the book Global Indigenous Youth: Through Their Eyes in partnership with the Global Indigenous Youth Caucus, contributing a chapter and designing the book cover.

The discussion will be moderated by Linus Wellander.
